Class Arrival/Pick up and Attendance
- It is very important that your dancer BE ON TIME FOR CLASS, (it is very distracting for the class when a student comes in late). Students must be PICKED UP ON TIME (we allow five minutes after class ends). After that, you will be charged $5.00 for every 10 minutes you are late (except in the case of an emergency). Getting stuck in traffic is not an emergency. Please allow yourself enough time to get to the studio before class ends.
- Our 3-6 yr old class dancers will be dropped off at F3 door (lobby) and will be picked up at F2 door to avoid congestion in the lobby.
- Upon arrival, your dancer will go to the dressing room and remain until the teacher comes to get them for class. Students are not allowed to wait in the lobby.
- STUDIO IS OPEN TO STUDENTS 15 minutes prior to the time their class starts. Please do not bring them earlier than that. If a student needs to leave class early, please send a note to class with the student or text Mrs Deborah.
Classroom Dress Code and Rules
- Students are required to wear PROPER DANCE ATTIRE and the REQUIRED DANCE SHOES for each class. No street wear, loose fitting or baggy clothing, or tee shirts will be allowed.
- You can find "what to wear" under our fall dance tab
- HAIR must be worn off the neck and away from the face FOR EVERY CLASS. (EX: pony tail, bun, braid)
- No jewelry! No chewing gum!
- Please leave all valuables at home and bring only what is needed for dance class. We are not responsible for lost or misplaced items (dance shoes, jewelry, cell phones, etc.)
- Please put your dancer’s initials in all dance shoes.
- Please make every effort to have your dancer attend class EACH WEEK (unless ill). Students who are frequently absent will struggle to advance and keep up in class.
Other
- NO FOOD of any kind is allowed in the studio. Students may bring bottled water, or a container with a lid that will not spill if tipped over. No open containers!
- Our PARKING IS LIMITED to the front of our building and the area to the front side of our building. Please DO NOT park in front of the other buildings!
- Due to the size of our lobby, we ask that, unless you have a student age 3-6 and need to walk them in, that you just drop your dancer off and pick them up after class. We appreciate your cooperation!
- Dancers who have a gap in between their classes and sit in the dressing room must bring something that they can do quietly. They must sit and not play.
